In line with its continued success in working with CIPS, PSI won a three-year contract in 2010 to work with CIPS to support the organisation and, in particular, its directors and other senior leaders through a significant period of growth and change.
We worked in partnership with CIPS to put in place a series of solutions to enable a sustained high-performance culture. These included: an organisational culture survey to diagnose potential blocks and to act as a ‘before’ and ‘after’ measure; an integrated director-level development programme comprising of ongoing individual coaching assessments supported by experiential team events and Emotional Intelligence coaching; the development of a leadership competency framework to provide a focus for leadership selection and development; and large-scale events to promote shifts in employee mind-set and behaviour.
By the end of our second year working with CIPS, measurement indicated that the CIPS culture had shifted demonstrably to one that enabled growth and high performance. This was supported by continued commercial success and, in 2012, CIPS successfully attained the Investors in People Silver Award.
